the heart can only take so much

Have you ever wondered why your heart feels like its being ripped out of your heart and being shot about 30 times with a machine gun when the guy you like just shows up and says "HI" to you but he already has a girl friend? well that feeling just happened to me today!!! they guy that i liked popped out of nowhere and came over and wished me happy birthday, my heart hurt so badly! those baby blues just grasped me and i didn't want to look away but i had to make myself. I couldn't just sit there and look at him with out thinking of that night that we spent in each others arms. no one had ever mad me feel more safe or wanted in my life. why do us girls allow someone to have such a hold on our emotions. guys never have this problem. they always allow that space in a relationship that allows them to let go so quickly and easily. girls need to take some "tips" from our male counterparts. no one deserves to have so much physical pain put on them when they are super"twitterpated" with someone. I always ask myself, what did i do to make you turn away from me? i though things were good and you had the same feelings for me as i did for you. I hate this mediocre feeling. but then when ever i need to be comforted, i listen to a song by nickleback called, "Never Gonna Be Alone". The lyrics are:::

Isn't that so cute!!!! One day I will find my prince charming that will sweep me off my feet and never will leave me alone in my hard times. he will always be the one that will tell me how wonderful i look when i feel like crap or tell me that he loves me in the middle of a fight. i will do everything in my power to make myself worthy for my prince charming. I know that he is out there preparing for me as well. and when we do finally meet we will feel that spark between the two of us.
